The Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/2 ZE Lens features a Distagon optical design that minimizes chromatic and spherical aberrations with its anomalous partial-dispersion element. The lens is made for Canon EF-mount cameras and includes nine optical elements arranged in seven groups. A Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating is applied on each element to reduce ghosting and lens flare that occur when working in bright conditions. The manual-focus system lets you capture a detailed shot of an object that may be as close as 30 cm. Additionally, you may adjust the depth of field in the image with the help of the DOF and focusing scales with IR position dot and hard stops. The frosted and anodized metal barrel offers a tactile control and ensures durability of the lens. The weather-sealed construction of the lens ensures protection against dust and moisture, while the blue sealing ring keeps the lens-camera interface protected.
