The Canon 18–135mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM Lens can be used for clicking a close-up as well as a wide-angle shot. This lens can be mounted to Canon EF-S cameras. There are 16 optical elements in the lens design, which are arranged in 12 groups. The lens construction includes aspheric, and UD lens elements to reduce aberrations as well as ensure clarity in the image. With the stepping motor AF system, the lens quickly focuses on an object as close as 39cm while remaining quiet. The optical image stabilization eliminates blur in the captured image by reducing the camera shakes up to 4 stops. In the video mode, the lens employs the dynamic IS to maintain a smooth pan and tilt handheld movement.
