The Sony A6000 Mirrorless Camera produces impressive high-resolution images with vibrant colors. It is designed for APS-C format cameras having a Sony E mount. The camera has a 24.3 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor. The camera offers an ISO range of 100–25600 and a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000th of a second. It can record 1080p videos at a frame rate of 60 fps. The camera comes with a Fast Hybrid AF system that is a combination of contrast- and phase-detection points. With the Dynamic Range Optimizer, the camera enhances the clarity of backlit subjects. This camera includes other important features like auto object framing, anti-motion blur, handheld twilight mode, WiFi, and USB charging.

Optics and Focus

The Sony A6000 features the Fast Hybrid AF system that uses both phase- and contrast-detection focusing points to keep the subject in focus. It has 179 phase-detection and 25 contrast-detection points. With this AF system, the camera can focus on subjects in just 0.06 seconds. The camera's ISO sensitivity has a maximum limit of 25600, which makes it easy for you to capture videos and pictures in different lighting conditions. You may also capture images of moving objects by increasing the shutter speed to 1/4000th of a second.

Sensor and Screen

The Sony A6000 mirrorless camera comes with a 24.3 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor that produces clear images with minimal noise in both bright and low-light conditions. The camera has a 3-inch touchscreen LCD that can be tilted as per your convenience, allowing you to work from a high or low angle comfortably. Also, the camera has an electronic viewfinder that offers a magnification of approximately 1.07× and diopter adjustment range of -4 to +3 m. Both the viewfinder and the LCD offer a 100% screen coverage.

Image and Video

The Sony A6000 can record videos in 1080p full HD at a frame rate of 60 fps. In the photo mode, the camera captures images at a maximum resolution of 6000×4000 dpi in JPEG and RAW formats. The camera can capture up to 11 frames per second in the continuous shooting mode. With various white-balance modes and photo-creativity features, you may give a unique look to each photo.

Other Features

This Sony mirrorless camera has built-in WiFi that can be used for sharing images and videos with your friends. Additionally, it can be triggered with the optional RM-DSLR2 remote control.
