The Tokina 50–135 f/2.8 is an indispensable telephoto zoom lens for your Canon DSLR camera. It comes with a high-quality optical construction that involves 18 elements in 14 groups, as well as SD glass elements for rectifying chromatic aberrations and rendering accurate colors. Additionally, the waterproof coating, which consists of a special fluoride compound, is applied on the surface of the lens through the evaporation method, making it water- and oil-resistant. The internal-focusing system of the lens prevents front-lens rotation, so that you can attach a circular polarizing filter and a lens hood. Speaking of focus, the Focus Clutch Mechanism ensures a fast and smooth autofocus, and lets you switch between manual and autofocus. The nine-blade, rounded aperture diaphragm offers out-of-focus elements a more natural appearance. The viewing angle of the lens varies between 31° and 11°, while the minimum focus distance stands at 3.3 ft.
