When in this vertical configuration, the bottom plate features specifically positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens.
This Side Plate also supports external recording via the integrated SSD Mount and features multiple 1/4”-20 threads for various accessories including smartphone clamps for livestream setups.
The SSD Mount accommodate hard drives 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick.
