The AF 45mm f/2.8 sports a compact & lightweight physical design, while still maintaining high image quality for your everyday shoots. This lens provides notably smooth bokeh, with out-of-focus highlights in both the foreground & background. Its ability to enhance your subject works hand-in-hand with the classical expression, or bokeh effects, that are featured. With a minimum focusing distance of 9.5", this lens is suitable for everyday snapshots, tabletop photos, & shoots where you want to make your subject stand out.

The AF 45mm f/2.8 features a stepping motor, which provides you with high-speed, accurate autofocusing, which is noticeably quiet, even while using face/eye detection AF or video shooting. Its rounded seven-blade diaphragm plays a large roll regarding the smooth bokeh effects. An included lens hood is designed to protect the front of your lens, while preventing stray light from causing lens flare.
