Get up and close to a distant subject with the Sigma 70–200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports Lens. You can use the lens with Canon EF-mount DSLRs. The optical design of 24 elements in 22 groups includes 10 exclusive low-dispersion glass lenses to correct various distortions from the edges to the center of the frame. Furthermore, the lens synchronizes with the camera to utilize its Canon Lens Aberration Correction feature. You can easily wipe moisture and oil off the front element as a special water and oil-repellent coating. The Hyper Sonic Motor AF system ensures quiet and fast autofocus down to 47.2 inches. With the manual override, you can fine-tune the autofocus setting anytime. The intelligent optical image stabilization with updated algorithm benefits handheld shooting. Thanks to the 9-blade diaphragm, you obtain pleasant bokeh quality in the background. The lens has weather-proof seals on the barrel to protect the internal focus motor, image stabilization system, and optical elements from moisture. This lens is compatible with the Sigma USB Dock that allows you to fine-tune the focus parameters and update the lens firmware.
