The Sirui A-1205 Tripod is built to suit the variable shooting environment where the camera is needed to set up. It is teamed with a Y-11 ball head that has a reversible 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 mounting thread. Also, the ball head has an Arca-type compatible quick release plate for fast installation and removal of the camera. The ball head has a dedicated knob for the clamp and two individual knobs for the movement of the ball and panning base. You can position the camera at 90° by using the sing-cut notch of the ball head. As for the tripod, it has three legs with 5-sections that can be adjusted with twist locks. The independent leg spread allows you to position the tripod on an uneven surface. You can hang a weight to the hook located at the bottom of the center column to stabilize the tripod when shooting in a heavy breeze. The reversible center column allows you to take low angle shots. You can fold the tripod legs upwards for convenient transportation. One of the tripod legs can be detached for using it as a monopod. The carbon fiber construction of the tripod not only makes it lightweight but also durable to withstand the rigors of outdoor photography.
