OVERVIEW
The Sigma 28mm F1.4 Art DG HSM Lens is built for both video and photo capture. It allows you to take advantage of the fast autofocus and video features of Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Its optical construction comprises 17 elements in 12 groups. The inclusion of two FLD and three SLD elements reduces chromatic aberrations. With three aspherical lenses, you can capture images having edge-to-edge clarity. The super multi-layer coating brings down the effects of ghosting and flare. You can easily wipe dust and moisture off the front element as it has a protective layer. This Sigma lens utilizes the hypersonic AF motor for quick and quiet autofocus. The manual override of the autofocus system is ideal for macro photography. You get smooth bokeh in the background with the rounded 9-blade diaphragm. The weather-resistant construction ensures protection for the internal electronics and optics. An optional Sigma USB Dock can be connected to the lens for adjusting the focus and update its firmware.
