The Sigma 24–35mm T2.2 Fully Luminous FF Zoom Lens lets you frame the shot from a wide as well as close-up perspective. This lens is made for Canon EF-mount cine cameras. It covers the image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. The lens offers precise control over the focus, zoom, and iris with the dedicated rings with luminous feet markings. You can rotate the focus and zoom rings up to 180° and 160° respectively to implement the long-distant focus racking and zooming techniques. The clickless iris ring ensures smooth functionality for up to 60°. These control rings have an integrated dampener that suppresses the metallic noise when you turn them till the end. The 9-blade diaphragm provides smooth bokeh quality in the out-of-focus background. Also, the maximum aperture of T2.2 enables you to use fast shutter speeds or base ISO in dim light. The cine-standard 0.8 Mod gear pitch makes the lens compatible with various professional filmmaking accessories. You may fix matte boxes to the lens as its 95mm front diameter matches the industry standard. A circular filter can be fitted to the 82mm front thread. This Sigma cine lens boasts a robust metal body that resists dust and water splashes.
