overview
The Sigma 24–35mm T2.2 FF Zoom Lens offers flexibility to work in different lighting conditions as well as to add various filmmaking accessories. Compatible with Sony E-mount cameras, the lens covers an image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. It gives full control of the focus, zoom, and iris in your palms. Moreover, the feet scale markings allow accurate adjustment. The focus and zoom rings turn up to 180° and 160°, respectively. With the click-less iris ring, you can adjust the aperture during the take without experiencing any unwanted sounds or jerks. Each control ring has a dampener that absorbs the noise when you turn it till the end. These rings have cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears that allow you to use different accessories such as a follow focus unit. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a cinematic bokeh quality to highlight the foreground subject. With the T-stop value of 2.2, the lens provides a fast reading to ensure an accurate exposure of the image. Different matte boxes can be fixed to the lens' 95mm front diameter. The front thread attaches 82mm circular filters. This Sigma lens is constructed from sturdy metal and has weather sealing to keep dust and moisture at bay.
