Overview
Combine the imaging power of your Sony E-mount camera with the optical prowess of the Sigma 18–35mm T2 Fully Luminous High-Speed Zoom Lens. This lens covers the image circle of Super 35mm-size sensors. The lens gives complete control over the focus, zoom, and iris with the dedicated rings. Also, these rings have an ergonomic placement that offers tactile control over the picture look. The Luminous scales are marked in feet for the focus and zoom. You have full control over the focus and zoom rings up to 180° and 160°, respectively. The clickless iris ring ensures a smooth movement up to 60°. A dampener is incorporated in the control rings, which softens the metallic noise when they reach the endpoint. The 9-blade diaphragm offers pleasant bokeh in the out-of-focus background. Also, the T2 maximum aperture lets you use fast shutter speeds or low ISO in dim light. The cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears accept various accessories that are intended for professional filmmaking. You may add a variety of matte boxes to the overall rig using the front 95mm lens diameter. A circular filter can be attached to the front 82mm thread. The all-metal body with dust- and splash-proof sealing makes the lens withstand the harsh treatment in any weather condition.
