The Shure VP83F LensHopper Shotgun Microphone with Integrated Flash Recorder is a compact camera-mount condenser that is used to provide detailed, high-definition audio with DSLR cameras & camcorders. This microphone records 24-bit/48kHz WAV audio files to MicroSDHC cards, and supports capacities up to 32GB. The VP83F features one-button recording & an easy-to-use operating menu. Its integrated Rycote Lyre shock mounting system provides isolation from vibration & mechanical noise. The VP83F LensHopper features a 60dB gain range, which is adjustable in 1dB increments, as well as a low-cut filter for adapting to different recording situations. Its lightweight, yet durable, metal design provides you with a dependable & long-term microphone. The VP83F mounts to a standard-size camera shoe or a 1/4-inch threaded stand. The detachable 3.5mm cable connects to your camera's audio input, while the stereo headphone output lets you monitor the incoming audio. The VP83F offers 10 hours of battery life on 2 AA alkaline batteries (Included). Its foam windscreen is included to guard against wind & environmental noise.
