OVERVIEW

The Saramonic NV5-WS is a replacement furry windscreen for the SR-NV5, SR-NV5X and MixMic shotgun microphones and a great furry windscreen for certain Sony shotgun microphones. Designed for higher wind conditions, when the foam windscreen just won’t do, the NV5-WS slides over the foam windscreen to give you added protection from wind noise when filming outdoors. It is an ideal solution to get the best quality sound in high wind recording environments.

Great for some shorter Sony shotgun microphones
It features an interior diameter of 4 x 14cm which also makes it a great furry windscreen for other shorter shotgun microphones. Like the Sony ECM-NV1 and the shotgun microphones included with the Sony DSR-PD150, DSR-PD170 and DSR-DSR250 cameras.
