Optics & Focus:
Optics:
The included Nikon NIKKOR Z 24–70mm f/4 S Lens, maintains a consistent optical performance, throughout the zoom range. The lens uses an optical construction, of 14 elements, in 11 groups, which includes Aspherical, & Extra-Low Dispersion Elements, to reduce chromatic, & spherical anomalies. Both Nano-Crystal, & Super-Integrated Coatings, are applied to the lens-elements, to suppress internal-reflections, while enhancing image-clarity, in bright conditions. The stepping-motor, shifts between different focus-points, without making any noise. You can manually override the autofocus, at any point. A rounded, 7-blade, electromagnetic-diaphragm, provides a pleasing, bokeh-quality, during the use of selective focusing techniques. A programmable control-ring, lets you adjust the aperture, & exposure-compensation settings. The front lens element, features a fluorine-coating, that keeps it safe, from dust & moisture. Also, the dust- & moisture-resistant lens-barrel, makes working in challenging weather conditions, possible.
The Nikon Z7 Mirrorless Digital Camera, works with NIKKOR Z-Series Lenses. Its Z-mount, maintains an interruption-free communication, between the camera & lens, to speed up the autofocusing performance, & image processing. Additionally, its diameter, is 17% larger, than standard, full-frame cameras, which increases the amount of light, that enters the camera, for an overall, improved, image-quality.
Focus:
The Nikon Z7 features a 493-point phase-detection system, which covers 90% of the imaging-area, so that your subjects remain in focus, even when they move, to the edge of the frame. When you switch to the video mode, the camera changes its AF function, to Hybrid AF, which uses both phase, & contrast-detection methods. A 5-Axis, Sensor-Shift, VR System, is featured, to control unwanted camera shakes, by 5 stops, for Z-mount lenses, & 3 stops, for F-mount lenses.
Sensor & Screen:
Sensor:
The Nikon Z7 Mirrorless Camera houses a 45.7MP, FX-Format, BSI CMOS Sensor, which provides accurate color-rendering, & an improved, low-light performance. Its back-illuminated design, keeps the image-noise in check, up to ISO 25600.
Screen:
The Nikon Z7 allows you to set up your scene, via its 3.0” Touchscreen LCD. The monitor’s 2.1m-dot resolution, & tilting-design, lets you view your footage-playback, with ease. The camera also features a 3.6m-dot, electronic viewfinder, which provides a high-resolution, live-view, with a 0.80× magnification factor.
