Its carbon fiber legs with magnesium alloy spider impart added mobility and strength. They spring out in three separate sections which enable the expansion and folding back by twisting the locks. The tripod expands to a maximum height of 53.7 inches and folds down to a minimum of 17.1 inches. It can be further extended to a maximum height of 64.4 inches with the use of the oversized lock.
