Its optical design features two extra-low dispersion elements, as well as one aspherical element, which assists in reducing a number of aberrations to achieve increased clarity and sharpness. A Super EBC coating is also featured to suppress flare and ghosting, which helps to increase color accuracy and contrast in your images. An optical image stabilization system is included to minimize the appearance of camera shake by 4.5 stops, allowing for sharper handheld shooting. Its linear AF motor provides quick and quiet focusing, which benefits both video and stills applications.
