Included with the RS40 is software with built-in features specifically for photographic images, so you can enhance photos and bring them back to life and you'll get a high-quality file with a resolution of up to 1200 dpi.

Photographic image enhancement features like red eye correction and fading correction help to fix older photos during the scanning process to create high quality saved images and lasting memories.
