OVERVIEW
Add a high-resolution, ultra-bright monitor to frame and manage your cinema camera setup with the Atomos Shinobi 7 II 4K HDMI HDR Monitor with Camera Control. Equipped with a 7" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, an impressive 2800 cd/m² light output, native calibration support, and HDMI I/O, it delivers complete USB-C camera control directly on screen. Driven by updated AtomOS software, the Shinobi 7 II includes a comprehensive suite of professional monitoring tools.
7" Daylight-Viewable Display
Built with a 7" IPS LCD 1920 x 1080 HDR panel and a powerful 2800 cd/m² edge-lit backlight, the Shinobi 7 II remains fully readable in direct sunlight without needing a sunhood.
DCI/UHD 4K Connectivity
View up to DCI or UHD 4K30 signals using the HDMI 2.0 input, and pass video through via the matching 4K30 HDMI 2.0 output.
USB-C Camera Integration
An integrated USB-C control port enables command over select Canon, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony camera systems. Review full device compatibility directly on the Atomos support page. Set your focus point by touching the screen, or use intuitive sliders to modify shutter angle, aperture, white balance, and ISO.
An integrated shutter release lets you capture stills directly from the display, aiding complex workflows like focus stacking and multi-exposure HDR bracketing. A bold red border clearly signals when internal recording is active, whether initiated from the camera or the monitor.
NOTE: Z CAM systems require a specialized USB-C to serial adapter cable for camera control.
HDR Image Analysis
Evaluate up to 10 stops of dynamic range from your camera's Log profile, giving you an accurate preview of complex contrast and shadow details that standard monitors miss. It is ideal for high-end productions demanding strict exposure control.
Audio Routing & Monitoring
Embed and pass through audio signals over HDMI, or utilize the 3.5mm analog input/output ports for direct audio embedding and dedicated headphone monitoring.
Hardware Display Calibration
Use the multi-purpose USB-C port to calibrate the screen using a compatible hardware probe without connecting to a PC. Each panel is factory-calibrated for precise color reproduction right out of the box.
Flexible Power Solutions
The rear panel features a centered Sony L-series (NP-F) battery plate along with a 36W USB-C PD power port. You can also power the display using a compatible dummy battery connected to an external DC source.
