I have a Soligor Zoom Macro 28-80mm C/D f/3.5-4.5 MC lens and I'm trying to identify its mount. It looks somewhat similar to Minolta MD at first glance, but the notch orientation doesn't match, it doesn't fit my adapter, and the lens also has a push pin and an aperture index tab that Minolta MD lenses don't seem to have. What mount is this lens?

It is Rollei QBM (Quick Bayonet Mount) mount first introduced in 1970. This bayonet mount was used on all Rollei's 35mm SLRs, and on most of the Voigtländer VSL models.

It is possible to buy a Rollei QBM adapter to fit most popular cameras.

This lens is most likely in Rollei QBM (Quick Bayonet Mount), not Minolta MD.

The clues you described match QBM: the bayonet notch orientation differs from Minolta, and the extra push pin/aperture coupling tab are consistent with Rollei’s mount design. QBM was introduced by Rollei for its 35mm SLR system and was also used on many Voigtländer VSL cameras.

So if you want to adapt the lens, look for a Rollei QBM adapter for your camera mount rather than a Minolta MD adapter.
