Unfortunate Purchase
The tripod is the fastest I've ever seen to set up and has a great panning ballhead. The locking sections are what sold me on this tripod, however, it suffers from some hidden manufacturing issues. The section where the ball head is has never stayed still. Most recently, one of the locking leg sections have come loose and won't lock. This is after a year of ownership. This tripod hasn't come out too much in 2019, but I thought I'd use it a a bit more in 2020 as the pandemic lends to more "other than portrait" work, like landscapes and macro. Unfortunately, a tripod that can't stay still is no tripod at all. The concept is superb, as it's the fastest thing I've ever seen set up and break down, but the quality issues pretty much sour the entire experience.
