Photograph wildlife at a New Jersey's National Wildlife Refuge, tucked in suburban New Jersey. The Great Swamp provides enhanced opportunities to photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, using platforms, viewing areas, and tour routes.
The Wildlife Observation Center has 1 - 1/2 miles of boardwalk, allowing us to see a variety of habitats and many different species. We'll see numerous turtles, snakes, and frogs. Many different birds can also be observed from any of the three permanent bird blinds. The abundant flora and fauna will also keep us shooting for hours.
Head Instructor Michael Downey will teach a class on wildlife photography and then we will fan out throughout the refuge.
