Take wide-angle shots with the Nikon 14–24mm f/2.8 AF-S Lens. It offers compatibility with Nikon F-mount FX format cameras. The lens design includes 14 elements in 11 groups. There are 2 Extra-low Dispersion and 3 aspherical elements in the lens construction to minimize chromatic as well as spherical aberrations. Both nanocrystal and super integrated lens coating reduce ghosting and flare to provide clarity. The Silent Wave Motor keeps the autofocus noise down while accurately focusing on an object as close as 28 cm. Additionally, the internal focusing mechanism maintains the lens barrel length. With the 9-blade diaphragm, the lens offers pleasant out-of-focus areas. The lens has a dust- and moisture-resistant body and built-in petal-shaped hood.
