The Hasselblad 500C is a medium format SLR camera that has earned its name by ensuring quality and reliability. This camera comes with a Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 lens and a 12 film back. It also accepts C, CF, CB, CFI, and CFE lenses. You have to manually meter the exposure by adjusting the shutter and aperture. The shutter speed can be increased up to 1/500th of a second to capture clear pictures of moving objects. The camera has a PC terminal for connecting an external flash unit. You may mount the camera on a tripod with the provided 3/8- and 1/4-inch sockets and plate.
Optics and Focus
The Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 lens is provided with the camera, which has a built-in synchro-computer between-lens shutter. It has a maximum speed of up to 1/500th of a second. This camera uses a manual helicoid focus system and offers 100% screen coverage with its waist-level finder.
