Its optical construction involves six elements in four groups, and features a computer-aided optical design with multi-coating technology. The minimum focus distance at which this camera can function is 3 ft, and its viewing angle stands at 48°. The inbuilt Seiko shutter opens and closes on getting a signal from the camera body in use. The inbuilt shutter operates at a maximum speed of 1/500th of a second. This compact lens, which comes with a filter thread diameter of 67mm, comes with a PC socket for mounting an electronic flash, so you can take bright pictures of subjects, even in dimly lit areas. Also, bear in mind that the lens must have the shutter cocked before it is attached to a camera body.
