The Nikon 18–200mm f/3.5–5.6 G VR II Lens is a versatile tool for a photography enthusiast. Ideal for both landscape and close-up capture, the lens works with Nikon DX-format cameras. The lens design has 16 elements in 12 groups that include 2 ED and 3 aspherical elements to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. Moreover, the application of a Super Integrated Coating ensures optical clarity by reducing ghosting and flare. The silent wave motor offers quiet and accurate autofocus down to a minimum distance of 1.64 feet. Thanks to the VR II image stabilization, the lens compensates camera shakes up to 3.5 shutter speed stops. The rounded 7-blade diaphragm enhances the shallow depth of field by creating circular light iris in the blurred parts of the image. You can attach 72mm circular filters on the front thread to obtain creative results.
