Whether taking large group pictures or composing a frame for a vast landscape, the Nikon 18mm f/2.8D Lens proves its usefulness at every step. This lens can be used with Nikon AF-D mount cameras. It is made with 13 elements arranged in 10 groups. Among these elements is an aspheric glass element. The lens construction offers center-to-edge sharpness with no spherical aberrations. Moreover, the lens elements have a Nikon integrated coating to minimize reflections. The seven-blade diaphragm produces an almost circular bokeh in the image background. You may take close-up shots of objects by manually focusing on them, even from a minimum distance of 0.85 ft. The front lens thread accepts 77mm circular filters.
