The KMZ Horizon 202 Panoramic Camera, as is clear by the name, captures a beautiful panoramic scene in a single frame. The camera comes with a fixed, rotating lens that has a focal length of 28mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.8. The attached lens provides an angular field view of 120°×45° and can work at the highest shutter speed of 1/250th of a second. This camera has an operating mode wheel for adjusting the aperture and shutter speed. It comes with an optical viewfinder that allows 0.4× magnification. You may mount the camera on a tripod with the help of the socket below.
Optics and Focus
This KMZ camera comes with an OF-28P lens that can be rotated for taking panoramic shots in detail. The lens has a 28mm, wide focal length that adds more coverage to the field of view. The OF-28P has four optical elements arranged in three groups. It provides an angular field view of 120°×45°. The maximum aperture of f/2.8 lets in enough light for rendering bright and clear images.
Sensor and Screen
The KMZ Horizon 202 Panoramic Camera has an optical viewfinder that offers a 0.4× magnification. A level ball on top of the camera helps in setting it in line with the horizon. In order to get a distortion-free image, the level ball should appear at the center, which can be checked while using the viewfinder.
Image and Video
This old-world camera from KMZ uses 35mm films for capturing images. When developed, the film generates photographs in a dimension of 175.5×146×73mm. You may attach a light filter on the lens for unique effects on images.
Other Features
The KMZ Horizon 202 Panoramic Camera comes with a film-rewind crank and shutter-disengaging button that reduces the time of preparing the next frame. A frame counter lets you know how many frames are used. The film counter resets to the initial count of 0 on reloading a film. Further, capturing a panoramic shot of a vast landscape becomes easy when you mount the camera on a stable base by using the tripod socket.
