Capture high-resolution photographs with the Fujica GS645 Pro Medium Format Camera. This camera has a Fujinon 75mm f/3.4 lens integrated into its body. The camera works with 120 and 220 roll films that deliver 15 and 30 exposures, respectively. A high shutter speed of up to 1/500th of a second is offered by the Copal No.00 mechanical inter-lens shutter. The viewfinder incorporates a coupled-type double-image rangefinder with a focusing range of 1m to infinity. Bright lines with parallax correction aid in framing. There are 3 LEDs to help you zero in on the right exposure setting. Attach an electronic flash unit to the hot shoe at the top.
Optics and Focus
The camera features a Fujinon 75mm f/3.4 lens that uses 5 EBC-coated elements arranged in 4 groups to offer bright photographs with optimum color saturation. The lens provides a 50° angle of view. You can adjust the aperture using the dedicated step-less ring. The Copal No.00 mechanical inter-lens leaf shutter offers a speed of up to 1/500th of a second to provide crisp photos of moving objects. A depth-of-field scale is provided to obtain accurate focus and aperture adjustment. The camera has been designed in such a way that the viewfinder assumes the portrait configuration, instead of the standard landscape format.
Sensor and Screen
The camera comes with a double-image viewfinder that gives a magnification of 0.63×. You get a 92% field of view at a focusing distance of 1m and 90% field of view when you set the focus to infinity. There are 3 LED indicators to assist you in exposure metering.
Image and Video
This Fujifilm medium format camera provides 15 exposures with 120 roll films and 30 exposures with 220 roll films. The film can be wound using the top-advance lever that has a 184° throw and 28° stand-off angle. To load the film, all you need to do is press the spool-release button. You can change the film loading setup of the camera using the switchable pressure plate. The exposure counter shows the number of frames used.
Other Features
The GS645 camera supports flash photography given that it incorporates a hot shoe in its design. The external flash unit can be synchronized at any shutter speed. You can also connect a flash bulb to the camera and synchronize the unit at 1/30th of a second. Turn the self-timer lever to set the shutter release delay to a maximum of 9 seconds. The Fujica GS645 camera is powered by two LR44 1.5V alkaline-manganese batteries.
