The lens design of 13 elements in 12 groups covers the image circle of full frame Canon EF-cameras with ease. It offers a diagonal view of 84.1° for full-frame sensors and 61.8° for Super35 systems. The lens construction uses 4 ED and 2 aspherical elements to suppress both chromatic and spherical anomalies. An ultra multi-layer coating is applied on the elements to reduce ghosting and flare. The focus ring has a 0.8 MOD pitch for using professional follow focus units. With the de-clicked aperture ring, you can adjust the T-stop value from 1.5 to 22 smoothly. The 8-blade diaphragm also adds to the image quality by producing rounded bokeh. A 77 circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
