The ZeroTech DOBBY is a pocket-size drone with 4K recording capabilities. The quadcopter runs on a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. It uses GPS and optical flow technology for navigating itself. The drone's camera functions on a 1/3.06-inch CMOS sensor. Apart from the video recording, you can use the camera to take up to 15 burst shots. The digital 3-axis stabilizer compensates for the vibrations and effects of wind turbulence. You can control the drone even without the remote by waving your arms. The ZeroTech DOBBY comes with tutorials to guide you through its controls.
Optics and Focus
The quadcopter has a 13 MP resolution camera integrated into its design. It provides a 75° field of view with its 35mm-equivalent focal length of 28mm. The camera has a fixed aperture at f/2.2 and the focus is set to infinity. You can adjust the ISO from 100 to 3200. The camera provides exposure compensation options of -12 to 12. Thanks to the digital 3-axis stabilizer, the effects of wind turbulence and vibrations are reduced.
Sensor and Screen
The 1/3.06-inch CMOS sensor functions the quadcopter camera. You can view the camera's live recording by linking your smartphone via Wi-Fi. It provides 640×480 dpi resolution at 30p.
Image and Videos
The camera can record videos in 4K quality at 30 fps. It can also capture images in JPEG with a maximum resolution of 4208×3120 dpi. Along with single shot, the camera also takes burst up to 15 shots. The camera creates a 10-second video clip when using the auto tracking feature.
Other Features
The ZeroTech DOBBY quadcopter uses the GPS to keep itself in the air even when heavy winds are flowing. When working indoors, the quadcopter navigates itself with the optical flow technology. The quadcopter employs facial recognition and FOLLOW SNAP 2.0 technology to lock-on and track subjects. You can use arm gestures or voice commands to control the quadcopter. The quadcopter has an internal memory of 16 GB for storing the captured media. You can synchronize your smartphone to the quadcopter via built-in Wi-Fi for transferring images and videos to it. The included tutorials get you familiarized with the flight and camera controls of the ZeroTech DOBBY.
