OVERVIEW

Transcend's external 2.5-inch (6.35cm) hard disk StoreJet 25M3S uses the SuperSpeed USB 3.1 technology. Thus data is transferred with super-fast transfer rates up to 10x faster than with a standard USB 2.0 connection. This makes data exchange much easier and time-saving even with large files. The external hard disk is backward compatible with USB 2.0.

Anti-Shock Design

The StoreJet 25M3S protects your data in three ways. The hard disk's fixed casing is enclosed by a shock-absorbing outer casing made of silicone. Inside the housing there is an internal suspension system, which optimally compensates for vibrations. This technology significantly reduces the risk of hard drive failure in the event of a power-down crash.

Military Tested Shock Resistance

The hard drive even passes the rigorous drop test standards of the U.S. military (MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.6-Transit Drop). In addition, the cable connection point is reinforced in the 25M3S series, so that a failure of the data is minimized even in case of falls to the connection point. This makes it one of the most secure places to store your data.

Data Backup via Button Pressure

The StoreJet 25M3S has a convenient OneTouch auto data backup button. This allows you to save files and synchronize directories with the PC with a single keystroke.

Power Saving Sleep Mode

If the hard disk is not used for more than 10 minutes, it automatically switches to the power-saving sleep mode. This saves energy and help you protect the environment of over use with electronics.

Includes Elite Data Management Software

The extensive Elite software package is pre-installed on all external hard disks of transcend. This software package provides useful data management features.
