The lens features a moisture-resistant body as well as a fluorine coat applied on the front element that offers effortless shooting in extreme environmental conditions. The Ultrasonic Silent Drive autofocus motor ensures smooth and near-silent autofocus. Round bokeh effect can be rendered from the lens’ 9-blade diaphragm. The optional Tamron TAP-in Console, aids to update lens’ firmware and fine-tune autofocus of the lens.
