Featuring built-in Vibration Compensation image stabilization, the lens enables easy handheld shooting of steady images as well as slower shutter speeds or longer zoom lengths. Constructed of 17 elements in 13 groups, the aspherical, low-dispersion, and XR elements help in reducing aberrations and distortions. This lens also sports macro capabilities with its minimum focus distance of 19.7" at 200mm and an excellent magnification ratio of 1:3.7. Enabled with Direct Manual Focus (DMF) function that helps in making fine manual adjustments after initially focusing by AF with its quiet stepping motor, this lens is the most advanced for professional photography.
