Overview

The Tamron 100–400mm f/4.5–6.3 Di VC USD Lens offers a precise optical and focusing performance to complement the functions of your Canon EOS DSLR camera. This lens comes with 17 elements, of these three are Low Dispersion elements that ensure an edge-to-edge clarity throughout the focal range. Both eBAND and BBAR coatings are applied to the lens elements to reduce ghosting and flare. A fluorine coat is given to the front element so that dust and moisture can be easily cleaned. The lens incorporates a Digital Signal Processor on the MPU to provide high-speed signal processing and AF response. Moreover, the Ultrasonic Silent Drive AF motor ensures a fast and quiet autofocus. Thanks to the 9 aperture blades, a purely-circular bokeh is created in the blurred background. The Vibration Compensation IS comes with an improved algorithm and an independent MPU to ensure a smooth camera movement when shooting handheld. The weather-resistant sealing prevents water from seeping inside. You can connect the lens to an optional TAP-In console to adjust the focus setting and update lens firmware.
