The Sony E 70-350mm G OSS Lens is a telephoto zoom lens, designed for APS-C-format Sony E-mount mirrorless camera, & features a range that is suitable for sports, landscape, & wildlife shooting. The 70-350mm lens provides a 105-525mm equivalent focal length range, & includes one aspherical element to help reduce distortion and spherical aberrations for more accurately rendered scenes, & high sharpness. Three extra-low dispersion elements are included to reduce color fringing, for improved clarity & color accuracy.
The lens features an XD Linear Motor system to provide a quick, quiet, & precise autofocusing performance, while contributing to natural manual focus control. A switch to change from AF to MF is located on the lens barrel for user-friendly control & fast access to the setting. A zoom lock is also included to keep a fixed lens length when the lens is not in use. A seven-blade diaphragm provides a smooth & pleasing bokeh quality.
Optical SteadyShot I.S. (image stabilization) is featured to minimize the appearance of camera shake, providing sharper images during handheld shooting.
