The Sigma fp Digital Camera With 45mm F2.8 Contemporary DG DN Lens is currently the world's smallest, & lightest, full-frame mirrorless camera, & comes with a Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens (Leica L-Mount). The Sigma fp features a 35mm 24.6 MP Bayer sensor, which makes it capable of taking high-resolution stills & videos. This L-Mount mirrorless camera features a lightweight design, & weighs under one pound, thanks to its aluminum physical design. The Sigma fp supports full-fledged filmmaking, with up to 4K UHD/24fps recording, & features special functions that are comparable to professional cinema cameras. A full-time electronic shutter is featured, to keep things simple, & improves its overall reliability, by removing the negative factors that come with the use of mechanical shutters. The transition between image capture & video-recording can be made via a featured switch, allowing you to easily move back & forth between Cine mode & Still mode. Features, such as Sigma's "Teal & Orange" color mode, & the "Fill Light" function, allow for an even more creative flow during usage. Advanced image & video-generating technologies, like HDR Shooting, Cinema Graphs (GIFs), Face/Eye Detection AF, & Focus Peaking, are designed to provide even more creative capabilities.

The included Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens is specially designed for full-frame, Leica L-Mount Mirrorless Cameras, & is a normal-length prime that is known for its ability to enhance the three-dimensional impression of a subject. The 45mm DG DN Contemporary Lens optimizes size, & is great for selective focusing techniques. Its ability to soften the outer edges of blurred images, while enhancing your subject, makes it suitable for making your subject stand out (ex: table-top photos).

The lens features a minimum focusing distance of 9.5", & supports full-time manual focus. Its optical design controls spherical aberrations, & its constant f/2.8 maximum aperture provides even greater control over depth of field. Its rounded 7-blade diaphragm also contributes to selective focusing techniques. The featured Stepping AF motor provides a near-silent, fast, & precise AF performance, & a rubber-sealed mount design makes the lens dust & splash-resistant.

Focus:

The Sigma fp features a "Focus Peaking" function, which highlights the edges of your focused subject in color, to assist with manual focusing. Face/Eye Detection AF allows the Sigma fp to automatically focus on your human subject's eyes during portraiture. Eye detection is designed to bring the eyes of your model into focus, in an instant, even with the use of a large-diameter lens & shallow depth of field.

The Sigma fp features a back-illuminated, 35mm full-frame Bayer sensor, with 24.6 effective megapixels, providing the fp with the ability to take high-resolution stills & videos.

Screen:

A touch panel, color LCD monitor is featured on the Sigma fp, & provides 100% coverage, with approximately 2,100,00 dots (Aspect Ratio 3:2, 3.15).

Thanks to its 24.6 Megapixel Bayer Sensor, the Sigma fp is capable of taking high-resolution stills. "Teal & Orange", which is a new color mode that was inspired by a color grade style in Hollywood, is included to give the option of creating high contrast between orange colors (human skin tones), & teals (cyan blue), for a highly vibrant & dramatic shooting experience. A "Fill Light" function allows you to fine-tune the brightness in your images, without altering the exposure of highlight areas. HDR Shooting provides three different exposures of a single shot, allowing for the ability to merge them into a single picture, with a high dynamic range that cannot be achieved in regular shooting.

Video:

The Sigma fp Mirrorless Digital Camera is designed to support full-fledged filmmaking, & features a Cine mode that comes with a variety of functions, comparable to functions that are found on professional cinema cameras. The fp supports cinema camera-like user interfaces, external recording in 12-bit CinemaDNG format, & features up to 4K UHD/24fps recording. Video data is provided, that enables the Sigma fp's use in filmmaking. Its All-Intra recording support lets the camera have the ability to maintain high image quality during file size-reduction. The Sigma fp features the ability to experience a smooth transition between image capture & video-recording, with a simple flick the switch.
