This prime lens uses 10 optical elements in 6 groups that have two aspherical and a single SLD element. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces unwanted reflections to provide a well-saturated image. Thanks to the stepping AF motor, you can acquire focus on an object while remaining silent. The maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows working in low light and provide control over the focus to get the desired depth of field. Also, the nine rounded diaphragm blades create smooth bokeh quality.
