overview
The Sigma 50–100mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens delivers consistent results whether shooting a medium shot or an extreme close-up. You can use the lens with Canon-EF cine cameras. It gives complete command over the focus, zoom, and iris with dedicated control rings. Also, the ergonomic placement of the rings, as well as Metric scales, ensures hassle-free working from both sides. The focus and zoom rings have a respective rotating range of up to 180° and 160° to give long travel distances. The clickless iris ring ensures a silent functionality. Built-in dampeners in each ring lessen the metallic noise when they reach the end. The 9-blade diaphragm creates pleasing bokeh in the background to underline the importance of the foreground subject. With the maximum T-stop value of 2, the lens supports shooting in low light conditions. The rings have a 0.8 module gear pitch that makes them compatible with different professional film accessories such as a follow focus unit. You can add different matte boxes to the lens with it 95mm front diameter. The front mounting thread accepts 82mm circular filters. This Sigma cine lens has an all-metal body with dust- and splash-proof sealing.
