Overview
Made specifically for combining a fast, constant maximum aperture with a wide range of telephoto focal lengths, the Sigma 50 - 100 mm f/1.8 DC HSM Lens is a must-have for all Nikon F-mount cameras. It includes three F Low dispersion elements and one special low dispersion element that reduce unwanted chromatic aberrations and color fringing that occur throughout the entire zoom range. The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) comes in handy for offering a quick and quiet autofocus that is further complemented by an optimized AF algorithm for a smoother focusing performance. Moreover, the lens features a tripod collar that provides stability whenever the lens is mounted on a monopod or tripod.
