The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Leica L-Mount is a wide-angle prime that is characterized by its advanced optical design. The 35mm f/1.4 is designed with one F Low Dispersion (FLD) element & four Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements to help reduce chromatic aberrations, while a pair of aspherical elements minimize a number of additional aberrations & distortions. A Super Multi Coating has been applied to reduce flare & ghosting for higher contrast and color fidelity. The f/1.4 maximum aperture assists with working in low-light conditions, while offering increased control over depth of field for isolating subject matter. Its Hyper Sonic Motor produces smooth, quick, and quiet autofocus performance, with full-time manual focus override. Thermally Stable Composite material is used with its physical design for durability in a range of environments.
