You can use the lens with Canon EF-mount cinema cameras. It has luminous scale markings in feet for providing visibility in dim light. The 180° rotation for the focus ring allows you to shift the emphasis between two long-situated points. This Sigma cine lens has a 9-blade diaphragm that creates the cinematic out-of-focus background that every director requires. In addition, the T1.5 aperture opening ensures bright imagery in low-light conditions. The lens allows you to use various industry standard accessories such as a follow focus unit with the cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears. Also, the built-in dampeners in the rings prevent metallic sounds when you turn them to the endpoint. The front 95mm diameter makes the lens compatible with various matte boxes.
