Intuitive to use and sophisticated in optics, the Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens is an ingenious choice for your Canon EF camera. Its optical construction involves 13 elements in 10 groups, as well as 2 F Low Dispersion (FLD) and 2 Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements that minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing to provide improved clarity and color accuracy. The Super Multi-Layer Coating on this lens reduces ghosting and flares, and thus produces a rich contrast and neutral colors, even with backlight. The large Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) enables the lens to get a fast, precise autofocus. Use the nine-blade, rounded diaphragm for producing a smooth bokeh effect on images. Also, you can update the firmware of the lens and fine-tune its characteristics by using the separately available Sigma USB Dock. This lens is made from a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, along with conventional metals. Further, a high-quality rubber sealing on the brass bayonet mount makes it splash- and dust-resistant.
