overview
Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the cage is specially designed for the Sony Alpha a7S III. The camera is strongly mounted to the cage using a 1/4-20 screw and an Allen key. The cage is designed with the following mounting options: (1) cold shoe, several 1/4-20 threaded holes and (7) 3/8″-16 threaded holes with anti-rotating Arri hole patterns. The design of the cage also allows easy access to all control buttons, side outputs, the memory card, the battery compartment, the lens release button and the camera hot shoe for the audio unit system. All doors and locks are fully usable when the camera is in the cage and its intelligent design allows you to operate the camera without having to remove the cable doors. In addition, the strap hooks can remain attached to the camera while being inserted into the cage. A detachable lock system to secure and hold in place your 3 left cables as well as your 4K FULL HDMI cable is included with the cage. The bottom of the cage has (2) 1/4-20 threaded holes to mount a quick release tripod plate to switch from a tripod to a shoulder configuration. A DELTA adapter can be added to mount on 15 LWS baseplate, (not included). an ARRI rosette can be added on the right side to mount compatible accessories.
