The Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens is made for professional filmmaking. It meant to be used with Sony A-mount cameras. The lens construction uses 12 elements arranged 10 groups. There are hybrid aspherical lenses that reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations. These elements have an ultra multi-layer coating to minimize glare. The manual focus ring has an industry standard gear pitch for allowing the use of follow focus units. You can de-click the aperture ring to adjust the T-stop value smoothly during recording. The 8 iris blades and maximum T-stop value of 1.5 produce a shallow depth of field with circular bokeh. This cine lens has a petal-shaped for blocking incoming light. You can fit a 77mm circular filter on the front thread. The aperture and focus scales are printed on the sides of the lens to allow comfortable handling.
