Overview

The Rode VideoMic Pro Plus is an on-camera shotgun microphone that offers better response and RF-immunity than its predecessors. This microphone can be used with camcorders, DSLR, and portable recorders that have a 3.5mm audio port. The microphone has a supercardioid pattern that emphasizes front sound and offers side sound rejection. Thanks to the high-pass filter, low-end noise is prevented from being captured by the mic. The microphone also offers a selectable high-frequency boost range. This microphone features the automatic power function that switches it off if the cable is not connected to the camera. The LED indicator shows the current battery and charging status.
