The Rode RODELink Performer Kit contains a TX-M2 wireless handheld condenser microphone, an RX-DESK desktop receiver, and an LB-1 Li-ion rechargeable battery. The TX-M2 and RX-DESK combine to form a digital wireless microphone system. It works on a 2.4 GHz fixed frequency agile system that offers a maximum range of 328 feet and 118 dB of dynamic range. This microphone-receiver system provides a minimal signal latency of 4 ms and 128-bit encryption. The receiver has a mute switch for silencing the mic between the performances. Thanks to the low handling noise, unwanted rumble in the audio is reduced. Other items in the kit include a mic clip, zip bag, and micro-USB cable. The microphone requires a fully-charged LB-1 Li-ion battery to provide 10 hours of run time.
