Pocket Wizard Plus IVe Transceiver

Overview

The PocketWizard Plus IVe Transceiver is an enhanced version of PocketWizard's "Plus IV Transceiver", which is a radio-trigger, that is designed to activate, & deactivate cameras, and/or off-camera flashes. The PocketWizard Plus IVe has the features of the PocketWizard Plus IIIe (Click To View), such as providing a remarkable range-of-operation, reliability, & the ability to function in challenging conditions, but has the added feature of a built-in hot shoe.

The IVe Transceiver is an auto-sensing transceiver, which enables the automatic function, of serving as either a transmitter, a receiver, or both, to include compatibility with speedlights, as well as cameras, & off-camera flashes. The "receiver" function allows the top-shoe to pair with, virtually any speedlight, & provides manual power-adjustment of your remote flash. The PocketWizard Plus IVe Transceiver is compatible with, virtually, any camera, via hot-shoe connection, or PC port, & is compatible with flashes, via sync-connection. The "E Release" firmware has been factory-installed, allowing you to benefit from the latest technology, right out of the box.

The Plus IVe Transceiver features 32 "E Channels", thanks to the new "E Release" protocol, to provide even longer ranges, & increased reliability. A "Long Range" (LR) mode also features 80 LR Channels, with increased resistance to RF interference, compared to that of its predecessor. Each of these channels, provides 4x zones, to enable the use of controlling your connected cameras & flashes, not only by channel, but also by zones.
