The new Nissin Air System utilizes a 2.4GHz radio transmission that offers a remote triggering range of 98 feet. It even has eight channels and three groups to control multiple flash units with different settings and modes. The Air I Commander also offers high-speed syncs, AF-assist, and manual adjustment of settings such as focal coverage, power, and exposure compensation. It is compatible with Sony cameras featuring a multi-interface shoe and ADI / P-TTL metering. The commander unit runs on two AA batteries and offers a battery life of around 3000 flashes.
