OVERVIEW
The MindShift BackLight Elite 45L Backpack (Storm Grey) is designed to meet the needs of adventure photographers & winter sports enthusiasts. The backpack's design features multiple compression straps & gear loops, making it suitable to carry skis, a snowboard, snowshoes & other winter outdoor equipment (hiking poles, ice axe, etc.). The interior design features a large main compartment, which has an included camera equipment pouch. The equipment pouch features ten padded, touch-tab dividers, which can hold a two-DSLR camera kit, as well as three prime lenses, a 16-35mm, a 24-70mm, & a 70-200mm zoom lens. The equipment pouch can also be set up for a multimedia kit with two mirrorless cameras, a prime lens, three zoom lenses, & a small drone. For those who use ultra-telephoto optics, even with a DSLR & 600mm lens, additional room is provided for a second camera, a 70-200mm zoom lens, or other accessories.
The backpack's rear-facing zippered panel features a 180° downward opening for easy access, while another zippered opening enables the items that are closest to the topofthebackpack to be quickly accessed. Also featured are three touch tab fasteners, lining the interior, so that the equipment pouch is securely mounted when placed inside the backpack. This design prevents the equipment pouch from shifting , & enables it to have its own top/rear-facing zipper compartments that are aligned with the openings of the backpack for quick access to the cameras & lenses inside. The backpack can be quickly transformed for storage & transportation by zippering the equipment pouch shut, & removing it from the backpack's main compartment. The equipment pouch itself features is designed using a durable polyester/nylon construction, a top handle, & its own adjustable backpack straps if needed.
A zippered gusset pocket is featured to accommodate up to 17L of gear that may consist of survival essentials, or extra items for a mobile photo studio. The section of the gusset pocket that is closest to your back is made to hold a 17" laptop, or a hydration pack (includes an exit for a sip tube). Its touch-tab retention flap, which is the middle pocket, can hold a 10" computer tablet, or other personal items. The third section of the gusset pocket is designed for gloves, a towel, or packable clothing.
The BackLight Elite 45L's top lid & waist belt can be removed/combined to form a smaller daypack that is worn around your hips & lower back. The BackLight Elite 45L, in its entirety, can be lifted using its built-in haul handle, & carried by its padded, adjustable, shoulder straps.
